The Accreditation Body of Montenegro joins the celebration of World Accreditation Day (WAD), observed globally on 9 June to promote awareness of the importance of accreditation and conformity assessment for the economy, institutions, and society as a whole.
This year’s theme, “Innovation, Trust and Sustainability: The Power of Accreditation,” highlights the crucial role of accreditation in supporting technological advancement, strengthening confidence in products, services and processes, and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals. The theme emphasizes the value of accreditation as a tool that enables organizations to demonstrate their competence, meet regulatory requirements, and build confidence among customers and the marketplace.
In his message marking World Accreditation Day, Brahim Houla, President of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI), emphasized that rapid technological development and growing sustainability expectations require reliable and credible evidence. Accreditation contributes to the reliability of new solutions, confirms conformity with requirements, strengthens user confidence, and supports the improvement of organizational efficiency.
World Accreditation Day 2026 provides an opportunity to further highlight the contribution of accreditation to building trust, supporting innovation, and achieving sustainable development goals, as well as to recognize the importance of the experts and organizations whose daily work contributes to the quality, safety, and reliability of products and services.
As part of the observance of World Accreditation Day 2026, this announcement includes materials that provide additional information on the importance of accreditation.
